COPE Policy

The Bulletin of the Iraq Natural History Museum adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to ensure the highest standards of integrity and ethical publishing.

1. Publication Ethics

  • All submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished elsewhere.
  • Authors are responsible for accurate reporting of research and data.

  • Changes in authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.

  • Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work.

5. Corrections and Retractions

  • Errors discovered after publication will be corrected promptly.
  • Articles found to violate ethical guidelines may be retracted with an official notice.

6. Data and Materials

  • Authors should provide access to data, methods, and materials whenever possible, ensuring reproducibility.

7. Complaints and Ethical Issues

  • The Journal investigates alleged ethical breaches following COPE flowcharts and principles.
